the short answer is yes. These hold in OWL 2 in general, and the rules have been derived to represent a proper (DL) subset of OWL 2. That is what the functional syntax describes. There is, actually, a theorem in the text that describes the exact situation (Theorem PR1, at the end of section 4.3.). Of course, the rule set can be applied on a larger set of OWL/RDF Graphs (ie, not only those that are constrained by DL) to produce meaningful and useful results (though one looses completeness).]]></description>
